Ok what HDR program do you use? I use photomatrix but none of my stuff looks this good!

I use Dynamic Photo HDR, Photomatix or HDREfexPro, depending on which one yields to most satisfying results.

Other software I use are UFRaw, Adobe Lightroom, Noiseware Pro and Gimp.

Tonemapping in itself is only a small part of the work I do with any image, and I spend the most time in Gimp, tweaking the tonemapped image. Prior to tonemapping, I optimize the RAW photos, ordinarily in Lightroom.

This should give you good insight into how I work in Gimp (for you, PS might be preferable). [link] I always post a description on how I processed the image when doing reworks on other people's photos.

wow, I only use photomatix, lightroom and adobe I will have to look in to the other! ty so much for the advice! means a lot that you are willing to give me your tricks :)
